We bring your scattered digital operation under one roof
Commerslab is a technology agency that brings e-commerce infrastructure, custom software development and corporate web solutions under one roof. We build, connect and grow the digital operations of brands.
Why we started
Many brands working in e-commerce share one problem: the pieces of the work live in different places. The website with one agency, the integrations with a software firm, marketplace operations with another team, and the corporate site built years ago and untouched since. When something goes wrong, everyone points at everyone else — and what gets lost in between is the brand's time and revenue.
Commerslab was founded to close exactly that gap. We manage all the components of a brand's digital commerce infrastructure — store, integration, marketplace, custom software and corporate site — within one team structure, to the same standards and with a single point of accountability.
How we work
One principle sits at the centre of how we work: what gets delivered should be a working system, not a slide deck. We start every project with measurable goals. For metrics like page speed, conversion rate, order processing time and stock accuracy, we set a baseline and a target. When the project ends, success isn't a matter of opinion.
Transparency is fundamental throughout. We move forward with weekly demos and see every stage together. We don't believe in a way of working that saves surprises for the end and says "there, it's done" at the close of the month. When a request falls outside scope, we discuss it openly, with its cost and timeline.
By the same token, we don't sell work that isn't needed. If a brand needs to improve its site conversion rather than build a mobile app, we say so. Even if that means a smaller project in the short term, this is how a lasting relationship is built in the long term.
Our areas of expertise
Our team is organised around three main disciplines. Our e-commerce unit handles Shopify builds, app development, marketplace operations and platform migrations. Our software development unit produces custom systems for web, desktop and mobile, along with AI-powered automations. Our design and corporate web unit covers a broad area, from brand identity to interface design and from corporate site builds to ongoing content management.
These units don't work in isolation. On a marketplace integration the software team, on a store build the design team, on a corporate site the SEO team all sit at the same table — no one waits for the next step, and knowledge isn't lost between projects.
The industries we serve
We run projects across fashion and textiles, furniture and home living, cosmetics and personal care, building materials, automotive parts, food and B2B wholesale. We work both with brands taking their first step into e-commerce and with high-volume, multi-channel enterprises.
The industry may differ, but the method is the same: understand first, then measure, then build.
Four rules we don't compromise on
Work that isn't measured isn't finished
Target metrics are set at the start of every project and the same metrics are reported at the end. A project doesn't close until the results are discussed.
Bad news is delivered early
When there's a delay, a technical obstacle or a scope change, we're the first to say so. Hiding a problem only makes it bigger.
The right tool, not the trendy one
Technology choices are made according to the project's needs. Unnecessary complexity is a debt to be paid later.
A choice, not a dependency
The source code and all access belong to the client. You're never forced to continue with us; if you do, it's because you want to.
